BEDALE TENNIS CLUB has completed its one-year project of resurfacing and installing floodlights on its three courts.

The facility has now been painted, and the two tone green has transformed the appearance of the courts.

All tennis was stopped at the end of March, but now, following LTA guidance closely, two of the three courts have been opened for restricted play, with the middle court acting as a buffer.

Members of the same household are able to play doubles on the courts, but members of separate households are only allowed to play singles, using two sets of tennis balls.

A new membership form has been launched from June 2020 until March 31, 2021 and fees have been drastically reduced in order to reflect the limited play permitted.

All junior school children can become a member of the club free of charge as long as they are accompanied by an adult member.

Full adult membership is £50 and an adult who only wants to play with their child can play for this period for £30 up to 6pm at night. Family membership for two adults and two children is £100.
