A sheep farmer from North Yorkshire will be kept warm and dry this winter after becoming the lucky winner of the latest NSA prize giveaway.
NSA was pleased to give new members who began their membership subscription at the end of November, coinciding with the Royal Welsh Winter Fair, the chance to win a Taran Smock, designed and manufactured by Outback Outfitters. George Donlon, from Northallerton, North Yorkshire was selected as the lucky winner of the coat in the recent prize draw.
Mr Donlon farms a small flock of sheep including Kerry Hill and Teeswater ewes belonging to his daughter.
Mr Donlon said: “I decided to sign up to NSA membership as I felt it was an ideal opportunity to both improve our farming knowledge keeping ourselves and keep up to date with any farming changes while ensuring we keep the management and care of our flock is in line with current recommendations.
“I never expected to win this prize as a result so it was a fantastic surprise to find out I had won the draw, it made my day.”
