Entries are now open for the 2025 Northern Farmer Awards, offering the chance for unsung heroes of agriculture to receive much-deserved recognition.
Supported by industry experts, the awards shine a spotlight on farmers, suppliers, breeders and producers across the North of England, celebrating the extraordinary hard work and progressive practices of the region's farmers.
The 2025 awards will take place on Thursday, February 20, at Pavilions of Harrogate, at the heart of the home of the Great Yorkshire Show.
The highly-successful 2024 event saw ten category winners named before the overall Northern Farmer of the Year was announced as Simon Stott, of Laund Farm, near Preston, who had earlier picked up the Sheep Farmer of the Year accolade.
Northern Farmer editor, Hannah Chapman, said: "Our awards are always such a special night, and a wonderful way to highlight all those working so hard, and with such dedication to excellence, across our industry.
"The opening of our nominations window marks the start of the countdown to awards night – so don't leave it too late to put forward any names you feel are worthy of recognition."
This year features an all new category - Poultry Farmer/Producer of the Year.
