A Limousin heifer from the Tindale family, Paradise Farm, Shadforth, secured the overall championship and sold for £1550 at Darlington Farmers Auction Marts' Anniversary show and sale on Monday.
Judge, Oliver Laws, of Rots Farm, Northallerton, found his reserve in a Limousin steer from I Oliver, South Brandon, which made £1600.
Outwith the show, a British Blue steer from Hall Farming, Kirkley, topped the trade at £1860, with the same home leading the heifers at £1780.
Store lambs reached £130.50 for a pair of Texel lambs from CE Smith, High Faverdale.
