The famous Farmers Choir, formed in 2013 as part of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers 75th Anniversary celebrations, is set to perform in Kelso.

Since their first performance in Glasgow in 2013 the choir has performed all over the country including memorable nights at the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, Perth Concert Hall and at Ingliston as part of the Royal Highland Show since 2014.

Now in their first performance in the Scottish Borders they are to sing in Kelso at the Border Union’s Springwood Hall.

Having raised over £170,000 over the last few years this special concert at 7.30pm on St Andrews Night, November 30, 2024 will be held to raise funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and the Border Union Schools Countryside Day.

Hosted by Borders farmer and rugby legend John Jeffrey, the evening promises to be an unforgettable new high for this talented and hard working choir.

A song list to hearten the soul includes ELO’s Mr Blue Sky , Feeling Good from Antony Newley and contemporary classics including tunes from the Greatest Showman and the timeless Caledonia by Dougie McLean.
